ACIDGROUND

1. Come decidete quali canzoni includere in un album?

Di solito si sceglie un argomento che possa collegare le varie canzoni, una specie di "concept", o comunque troviamo un filo conduttore per dare coerenza al tutto.

 

2. Cosa possiamo aspettarci dal vostro prossimo album?

Probabilmente un evoluzione verso qualcosa di più energetico e meno depressivo, ma sempre nello stile Acidground.

 

3. C’è qualche genere musicale che vorreste esplorare in futuro?

Come già accennato nella domanda precedente, vogliamo aggiungere più energia e potenza, quindi più Stoner o Grunge alla Soundgarden, e meno ambientazioni Dark.

 

4. Quali sono i vostri piani futuri?

Essere più presenti a livello produttivo e social, e trovare qualcuno che capisca il valore del nostro sound per distribuirlo al meglio

 

 

     5. Come nasce una Vostra canzone?

 

Semplicemente sento una musica in testa che mi piace, e in automatico mi viene un argomento che potrebbe legarsi, in dieci minuti faccio il cantato, in mezz'ora il testo.

 

      6. Qual è stata la canzone più difficile da scrivere e perché?

 

 Tutte quelle che riguardano fatti personali, soprattutto diventano difficili da cantare.

 

       7. Quali sono i vostri obbiettivi a lungo termine come band?

 

Intanto per ora siamo un duo e per i live sarebbe difficile. Sicuramente uscire con un' etichetta, e  migliorare le nostre produzioni, sicuramente fare un LP.

 

        8. Qual è il miglior consiglio che avete ricevuto nella vostra carriera musicale?

 

Uno che serve per tutto, se ci credi veramente, non mollare mai.

 

 

DIRTY SONGS (album):

Con l’uscita di DIRTY SONGS, Acidground si colloca con decisione nella pole position dei migliori album grunge dell’underground italiano. Non si tratta di un’esagerazione: raramente un progetto indipendente riesce a condensare in un unico lavoro tanta originalità, passione e gusto musicale.

La cifra stilistica di Acidground – alias Bound – è la capacità di trasformare ogni brano in un’esperienza emotiva esponenziale. Tutto vibra, tutto esplode: ogni traccia, pur differente nelle atmosfere e nelle dinamiche, racconta con intensità ciò che ferisce, ciò che vincola, ciò che intrappola in una vita sbagliata. Il pathos interpretativo è la vera firma dell’album, un marchio che attualmente non trova eguali nella scena grunge nazionale.

La scrittura musicale rivela una maturità compositiva frutto di anni di esperienza: riff ipnotici, linee vocali graffianti e una produzione che, pur mantenendo l’impronta underground, riesce a valorizzare ogni dettaglio. APATHY:

Gli Acidground consolidano la loro posizione nella scena musicale indipendente con il loro ultimo singolo, "Apathy", un brano che dimostra una sensibilità artistica significativa.
La traccia si apre con un riff di chitarra distorto, il cui timbro caldo e avvolgente guida il brano fin dalle prime battute, creando un'atmosfera cupa e magnetica che cattura immediatamente l'ascoltatore.

ACIDGROUND è un progetto musicale che unisce il Grunge, lo Stoner e il Dark/Doom, con influenze da band come Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Type 0 Negative e Kyuss. Il nome ACIDGROUND significa terreno acido e rappresenta tutte le avversità della vita che affrontiamo ogni giorno.
il progetto è nato dalla mente e dall' anima di Vins (Bound) Le copertine, che raffigurano sempre mani in varie situazioni, esprimono la molteplicità e la profondità delle esperienze umane.
La copertina del primo EP, "EVIL BLUES" ad esempio, raffigura una mano che emerge dal terreno, simbolo della determinazione a superare ogni avversità.
ACIDGROUND è un viaggio musicale attraverso le ombre e la luce, raccontando le esperienze che lo hanno forgiato e la sua lotta per emergere dalle difficoltà della vita. La sua musica è una testimonianza della resilienza umana e della capacità di trovare speranza anche nei momenti più bui.

Vins, nome d'arte Bound (legato) inizia a muovere i primi passi con covers band all' età di 18 anni, cominciando dal punk e dal rock, per poi cimentarsi con molti altri generi musicali e così creare un esperienza vocale originale e completa, passando dal Pop al Reggae, fino ad arrivare al Metal Estremo. Durante questo percorso inizia a comporre inizialmente cantati e testi per altri musicisti, nel frattempo innamorandosi del Grunge e dello Stoner Rock.
Nel 2013 conosce Fabrizio, e produce con lui quello che è a tutti gli effetti il prototipo dello stile che il duo adotterà in futuro. Per varie vicissitudini legate alla lontananza il progetto esce con il nome di "Fabrizio Sodaro RISE THE SUN". Da qui Vins dedica sempre maggiore attenzione a questi due stili, creando da solo tutte le composizioni sino ad oggi conosciute degli Acidground, che sono appunto una miscela personalizzata di questi due generi musicali, Fabrizio poi lo raggiungerà in un secondo tempo con il suo indispensabile apporto per aiutarlo a dare profondità e completare tutte i brani dell' album, come guest musician.

1. How do you decide which songs to include in an album?  

We usually choose a theme that can connect the various songs, a sort of "concept," or we find a common thread to give coherence to the whole work.  

 

2. What can we expect from your next album?  

Probably an evolution toward something more energetic and less melancholic, but always true to the Acidground style.  

 

3. Is there any musical genre you’d like to explore in the future?  

As mentioned in the previous question, we want to add more energy and power, leaning towards Stoner or Grunge like Soundgarden, and moving away from darker atmospheres.  

 

4. What are your future plans?  

To be more active in terms of production and on social media, and to find someone who understands the value of our sound to distribute it better.  

 

5. How does one of your songs come to life? 

I simply hear a melody in my head that I like, and automatically, an idea for a theme comes to mind. In about ten minutes, I create the vocals, and in thirty minutes, the lyrics are done.  

 

6. Which song was the most difficult to write and why? 

All the ones that deal with personal experiences—they become especially difficult to sing.  

 

7. What are your long-term goals as a band? 

For now, we are a duo, which makes performing live challenging. Certainly, we aim to sign with a label, improve our productions, and eventually release an LP.  

 

8. What’s the best advice you’ve received in your music career?  

It’s a piece of advice that applies to everything: if you truly believe in it, never give up.

ACIDGROUND is a musical project that blends Grunge, Stoner, and Dark/Doom, with influences from bands such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Type O Negative, and Kyuss. The name ACIDGROUND means “acid ground” and represents all the adversities of life that we face every day.
The project was born from the mind and soul of Vins (Bound). The covers, which always depict hands in various situations, express the multiplicity and depth of human experiences.
The cover of the first EP, EVIL BLUES, for example, shows a hand emerging from the ground, a symbol of determination to overcome every adversity.

ACIDGROUND is a musical journey through shadows and light, narrating the experiences that shaped it and its struggle to rise above life’s difficulties. Its music is a testimony to human resilience and the ability to find hope even in the darkest moments.

Vins, stage name Bound (“tied”), took his first steps with cover bands at the age of 18, starting with punk and rock, then experimenting with many other musical genres and thus creating an original and complete vocal experience, ranging from Pop to Reggae, up to Extreme Metal. Along this path, he began composing vocals and lyrics for other musicians, while falling in love with Grunge and Stoner Rock.

In 2013 he met Fabrizio, and together they produced what is essentially the prototype of the style the duo would later adopt. Due to various circumstances related to distance, the project was released under the name Fabrizio Sodaro RISE THE SUN. From that point on, Vins devoted increasing attention to these two styles, creating on his own all the compositions known today as Acidground—an individualized blend of these genres. Fabrizio later rejoined him, offering his indispensable contribution as a guest musician to help give depth and completeness to all the tracks on the album.
