Dopo questo evento, Gahan ha affrontato una profonda riabilitazione e ha completamente cambiato stile di vita, diventando uno dei simboli viventi della resilienza artistica.
Violator: il capolavoro senza tempo
Il 1990 fu l’anno della consacrazione globale. L’album Violator è considerato uno dei più grandi dischi degli anni ’90. Brani come "Personal Jesus", "Enjoy the Silence" e "Policy of Truth" non solo scalarono le classifiche, ma divennero colonne sonore generazionali.
