I Kings of Leon si preparano a tornare sul palco di Londra con un grande appuntamento live. La band americana sarà protagonista di uno show alla The O2 Arena il 2 luglio 2027, nell’ambito della serie di concerti organizzata per celebrare il ventesimo anniversario della celebre venue londinese.
Per i Kings of Leon si tratta di un ritorno particolarmente atteso nella capitale britannica: sarà infatti il loro primo concerto a Londra dopo le cinque serate consecutive all’Hyde Park del 2024, un ciclo di concerti che aveva confermato il fortissimo legame tra la band e il pubblico del Regno Unito.
L’appuntamento londinese arriverà in un momento importante per la carriera del gruppo. Il prossimo 6 novembre 2026 è infatti prevista la pubblicazione di “O My Beloved”, il decimo album in studio dei Kings of Leon. Il nuovo lavoro rappresenta il prossimo capitolo della storia della formazione di Nashville e farà da protagonista nella successiva attività live della band.
Il concerto di Londra è inoltre indicato come l’unica data in un’arena britannica del tour estivo 2027 legato al nuovo album, rendendo l’evento ancora più significativo per i fan inglesi.
La band, formata dai fratelli Caleb, Nathan e Jared Followill e dal cugino Matthew Followill, continua così un percorso che dura da oltre vent’anni e che ha portato i Kings of Leon dal rock del Sud degli Stati Uniti ai grandi palcoscenici internazionali.
Tra gli appuntamenti più attesi del loro repertorio non mancheranno probabilmente i grandi classici che hanno segnato la loro carriera, da “Sex on Fire” a “Use Somebody”, accanto ai nuovi brani destinati a entrare nella scaletta del prossimo tour.
