Robby Krieger, storico chitarrista e cofondatore dei The Doors, torna protagonista della scena live con un nuovo appuntamento insieme ai Soul Savages, la formazione con cui negli ultimi anni ha dato nuova vita alla sua passione per il rock psichedelico, il blues, il jazz e la musica strumentale.
L'appuntamento è fissato per sabato 5 settembre 2026 alle 19:30 alla Copa Room del Tuscany Suites & Casino di Las Vegas, in Nevada. Un dettaglio importante: non si tratta della Toscana italiana, ma del complesso alberghiero-casinò di Las Vegas chiamato Tuscany. La serata è stata annunciata come un viaggio musicale attraverso rock, soul, blues e atmosfere psichedeliche, con Krieger ancora una volta al centro del progetto.
Robby Krieger è una delle figure più originali della storia del rock americano. Nato a Los Angeles nel 1946, entrò nei Doors nella prima metà degli anni Sessanta e contribuì in maniera decisiva alla costruzione del sound della band insieme a Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek e John Densmore.
La sua chitarra ha avuto un ruolo fondamentale in alcuni dei brani più celebri dei Doors. Krieger ha infatti scritto o co-scritto canzoni come “Light My Fire”, “Love Me Two Times”, “Touch Me” e “Love Her Madly”, dimostrando una sensibilità compositiva molto diversa dagli stereotipi del chitarrista rock dell'epoca. Il suo stile univa blues, influenze jazz, chitarra flamenca e sonorità psichedeliche, contribuendo a rendere immediatamente riconoscibile la musica dei Doors.

Robby Krieger, legendary guitarist and co‑founder of The Doors, is back in the live spotlight with a new show alongside the Soul Savages, the group with which he has spent recent years breathing new life into his passion for psychedelic rock, blues, jazz and instrumental music.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, 5 September 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Copa Room of the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. And here’s the key detail: this is not the Italian region of Tuscany, but the Las Vegas hotel‑casino complex named Tuscany. The evening has been announced as a musical journey through rock, soul, blues and psychedelic atmospheres, with Krieger once again at the center of the project.
Robby Krieger is one of the most distinctive figures in American rock history. Born in Los Angeles in 1946, he joined The Doors in the mid‑Sixties and played a decisive role in shaping the band’s sound alongside Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek and John Densmore.
His guitar was essential to some of the Doors’ most iconic songs.
