Torna uno degli appuntamenti più attesi dell’estate musicale bergamasca: il Bum Bum Festival 2026 è pronto a trasformare ancora una volta il Parco Le Stanze di Trescore Balneario, in provincia di Bergamo, in un grande villaggio dedicato alla musica dal vivo. La 34ª edizione si svolgerà dal 20 al 30 agosto 2026, con undici serate di concerti a ingresso completamente gratuito.
Nato nel 1993 come Festa della Birra e successivamente evolutosi nel Bum Bum Festival, l’evento è diventato negli anni uno dei principali appuntamenti musicali gratuiti del Nord Italia. La manifestazione è organizzata e gestita grazie al lavoro di numerosi volontari e, nel corso della sua storia, ha ospitato oltre 600 artisti e raccolto più di 1,5 milioni di presenze. Sul palco sono passati alcuni dei nomi più importanti della musica italiana e internazionale, dagli Afterhours ai Negrita, dai Subsonica ai Punkreas, passando per Caparezza, J-Ax, Salmo, Lacuna Coil, Jinjer, Verdena, White Lies e molti altri.
Anche quest’anno il programma conferma la vocazione trasversale del festival, capace di muoversi tra rock, metal, folk, punk, rap, hip-hop e altri linguaggi musicali. Per gli appassionati di rock, uno degli appuntamenti principali sarà venerdì 21 agosto, quando sul palco saliranno i Bandabardò, protagonisti della serata “King del Folk-Rock”, preceduti dal cantautore rock Primogenito.
Grande attenzione anche al metal con il Metal For Emergency, in programma sabato 22 agosto. La serata avrà come headliner gli inglesi Carcass, tra le formazioni più importanti della storia del death metal, affiancati da Labyrinth, Shores of Null, Never Obey Again, Embrace of Souls e Integral. Un appuntamento particolarmente significativo per la scena heavy italiana e internazionale, inserito all’interno della programmazione del festival.
Il programma proseguirà mercoledì 26 agosto con I Patagarri, protagonisti di una serata dedicata a nu-folk, swing e patchanka, insieme ai Gotto Esplosivo, mentre venerdì 28 agosto sarà la volta del “Bum Bum Montagna Festival”, con Folkstone e The Rumpled, due realtà fortemente legate alle contaminazioni tra folk e rock.
La parte più decisamente punk arriverà invece sabato 29 agosto, con il “Bum Bum Punk Rock Festival”: sul palco saliranno i Punkreas, accompagnati da Etta, Weird Bloom, Camilla PNK, Cornoltis e Mistakes on Floor. Una serata pensata per celebrare il punk rock nelle sue diverse declinazioni e che amplia ulteriormente la proposta musicale della manifestazione.
Il Bum Bum Festival non è però soltanto musica. L’area del Parco Le Stanze sarà animata ogni sera anche dalla ristorazione, con piatti della tradizione e diverse proposte gastronomiche, oltre alla birreria con una selezione di birre artigianali. Le porte apriranno generalmente alle 19:00, mentre i concerti inizieranno alle 21:00, con alcuni appuntamenti che prevedono orari differenti.
Un altro elemento distintivo è proprio la formula dell’ingresso gratuito, mantenuta dal festival fin dalla sua nascita. Non sono previsti biglietti né prenotazioni: il pubblico potrà accedere liberamente all’area del Parco Le Stanze, vivendo undici serate di musica in un contesto pensato per unire concerti, socialità, gastronomia e cultura musicale.
Con una storia iniziata più di trent’anni fa e una programmazione capace di mettere insieme grandi nomi internazionali, artisti italiani affermati e nuove realtà emergenti, il Bum Bum Festival 2026 si conferma così uno degli appuntamenti più interessanti dell’estate musicale italiana. Dal 20 al 30 agosto, al Parco Le Stanze di Trescore Balneario, undici serate di musica live a ingresso gratuito porteranno sul palco rock, metal, folk-rock, punk e molti altri generi, con una lineup pensata per un pubblico sempre più ampio e trasversale.

BUM BUM FESTIVAL 2026: THE 34TH EDITION KICKS OFF WITH THE BEST OF ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL ROCK
One of the most anticipated events of the Bergamo summer music season is back: Bum Bum Festival 2026 is ready to once again transform Parco Le Stanze in Trescore Balneario, in the province of Bergamo, into a large village dedicated to live music. The 34th edition will take place from 20 to 30 August 2026, offering eleven nights of concerts with completely free admission.
Founded in 1993 as the Festa della Birra and later evolved into the Bum Bum Festival, the event has become over the years one of the most important free music festivals in Northern Italy. Organised and run thanks to the work of numerous volunteers, it has hosted over 600 artists and welcomed more than 1.5 million attendees throughout its history. Its stage has seen some of the biggest names in Italian and international music, from Afterhours to Negrita, Subsonica to Punkreas, and artists such as Caparezza, J‑Ax, Salmo, Lacuna Coil, Jinjer, Verdena, White Lies and many more.
This year’s programme once again confirms the festival’s cross‑genre identity, moving between rock, metal, folk, punk, rap, hip‑hop and other musical languages. For rock fans, one of the key nights will be Friday 21 August, when Bandabardò will take the stage as part of the “King del Folk‑Rock” evening, preceded by rock singer‑songwriter Primogenito.
Great attention is also given to metal with Metal For Emergency, scheduled for Saturday 22 August. The night will be headlined by the English band Carcass, one of the most important formations in the history of death metal, joined by Labyrinth, Shores of Null, Never Obey Again, Embrace of Souls and Integral. A particularly significant event for the Italian and international heavy scene, included within the festival’s programme.
The festival continues on Wednesday 26 August with I Patagarri, leading a night dedicated to nu‑folk, swing and patchanka, together with Gotto Esplosivo. On Friday 28 August, it will be time for the Bum Bum Montagna Festival, featuring Folkstone and The Rumpled, two acts strongly connected to the blend of folk and rock.
The most decidedly punk‑oriented night arrives on Saturday 29 August with the Bum Bum Punk Rock Festival: Punkreas will headline, joined by Etta, Weird Bloom, Camilla PNK, Cornoltis and Mistakes on Floor. A night designed to celebrate punk rock in all its forms, further expanding the festival’s musical offering.
But Bum Bum Festival is not just about music. The Parco Le Stanze area will be animated every evening by food stands offering traditional dishes and various gastronomic options, along with a beer garden featuring a selection of craft beers. Gates will generally open at 19:00, while concerts will begin at 21:00, with some events featuring different schedules.
Another distinctive element is the festival’s free admission, maintained since its inception. No tickets or reservations are required: the public can freely access the Parco Le Stanze area and enjoy eleven nights of music in a setting designed to combine concerts, socialising, gastronomy and musical culture.
With a history spanning more than thirty years and a programme capable of bringing together major international names, established Italian artists and emerging acts, Bum Bum Festival 2026 confirms itself as one of the most compelling events of the Italian summer music season. From 20 to 30 August, eleven nights of free live music will bring rock, metal, folk‑rock, punk and many other genres to the stage, with a lineup designed for an increasingly broad and diverse audience.
