Potrebbero esserci ancora importanti sorprese nell'archivio dei Pearl Jam. Mike McCready ha riacceso l'interesse dei fan parlando di altro materiale registrato durante le sessioni di Gigaton, l'undicesimo album in studio della band di Seattle, pubblicato nel marzo 2020.
Il chitarrista ha rivelato che esiste un ulteriore insieme di brani provenienti da quelle sessioni, alimentando la possibilità che, prima o poi, parte di questo materiale possa essere recuperata e resa disponibile al pubblico. Una prospettiva particolarmente interessante per i fan dei Pearl Jam, da sempre molto attenti alle rarità, ai brani inediti e alle registrazioni rimaste fuori dagli album ufficiali.
La notizia va però interpretata con cautela. There may still be major surprises hidden in the Pearl Jam archives. Mike McCready has reignited fan interest by revealing that additional material was recorded during the sessions for Gigaton, the Seattle band’s eleventh studio album, released in March 2020.
The guitarist explained that there is another set of tracks stemming from those sessions, fueling speculation that some of this material could eventually be revisited and made available to the public. It’s an especially intriguing prospect for Pearl Jam fans, who have always been attentive to rarities, unreleased songs and recordings left off official albums.
However, the news should be interpreted with caution. At this time, no official announcement has been made regarding a new album built from these recordings, nor has any release timeline been shared.
