Tra i brani del progetto figurano “The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin” e “Death: Right Before We Die”.

TEMPERANCE, ITALIAN METAL ROARS BACK: “ARCANI” OUT NOW

Italian metal takes center stage once more with “Arcani”, the new album from Temperance, released on October 16, 2026, via Napalm Records. The record marks a new chapter in the journey of the symphonic power metal band, as they continue to strengthen their presence on the international scene.

Featuring thirteen tracks, Arcani revolves around the world of Tarot and the archetypes of the Major Arcana, transforming each card into a starting point for exploring emotions, experiences, and different dimensions of human existence. The concept is intertwined with the band's signature sound, blending symphonic melodies, powerful guitars, intricate arrangements, and their distinctive vocal interplay.

Among the album's standout tracks are “The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin” and “Death: Right Before We Die.” The latter was inspired by a real-life incident experienced by the band during a 2024 tour in Estonia, when the restaurant where they were dining caught fire. That experience became the foundation for a song that reflects on the fragility of life and the unpredictable nature of events.

The lineup features Kristin Starkey and Michele Guaitoli on vocals, Marco Pastorino on guitar and vocals, Luca Negro on bass, and Marco Sacchetto on drums. Production duties were handled by Marco Pastorino, while mixing and mastering were completed by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio. The album artwork was created by Thomas Ewerhard.

From a musical standpoint, the album aims to balance power and sophistication, alternating driving passages with more atmospheric moments. Melodic structures and symphonic arrangements support a narrative that combines symbolic imagery with emotional intensity, while firmly maintaining the band's metal identity.

With Arcani, Temperance seek to further establish their place within the international metal landscape, taking listeners on a musical journey inspired by universal symbols and reflections on the human condition. The concept provides a cohesive thread throughout all thirteen tracks, inviting fans to explore the many meanings that unfold across the album.
