Le Thundermother tornano con nuova musica e annunciano il loro settimo album in studio, “Mothers Of Thunder”, in uscita il 5 febbraio 2027 per Napalm Records. Ad accompagnare l'annuncio arriva “Bimbo Boost”, il primo singolo estratto dal nuovo lavoro, pubblicato il 25 settembre 2026.
Il nuovo brano conferma l'attitudine hard rock della band svedese, ma introduce anche una componente ironica e provocatoria. “Bimbo Boost” affronta infatti la pressione che le artiste subiscono rispetto al proprio aspetto e alle aspettative legate alla presenza sul palco.
Musicalmente, il singolo contiene un particolare riferimento alla storia del rock: il celebre riff di “Smoke On The Water” dei Deep Purple viene riproposto al contrario, trasformandosi in uno degli elementi distintivi del brano.
“Mothers Of Thunder” rappresenterà inoltre il debutto delle Thundermother con Napalm Records. La band ha descritto il nuovo album come un lavoro caratterizzato da riff potenti, groove trascinanti, voce energica e una combinazione di momenti divertenti e temi più seri.
Il disco arriva dopo “Dirty & Divine”, pubblicato nel 2025, e dopo “Live’n’Alive”, primo album dal vivo delle Thundermother, uscito nel 2026.
La nuova formazione vede Filippa Nässil, Joan Massing, Linnéa Vikström Egg e Majsan Lindberg protagoniste di questo nuovo capitolo discografico. La band prosegue così il percorso iniziato con una nuova formazione, mantenendo al centro l'identità hard rock che ne ha caratterizzato la carriera.
Con “Bimbo Boost”, le Thundermother aprono ufficialmente la strada verso “Mothers Of Thunder”, un album che punta a mantenere al centro l'energia del rock'n'roll e la dimensione live che da sempre caratterizza la band.

THUNDERMOTHER, “BIMBO BOOST” PREVIEWS THE NEW ALBUM
Thundermother return with new music and announce their seventh studio album, Mothers Of Thunder, set for release on 5 February 2027 via Napalm Records. Alongside the announcement comes Bimbo Boost, the first single from the new record, released on 25 September 2026.
The new track confirms the Swedish band’s hard‑rock attitude while introducing an ironic and provocative twist. Bimbo Boost tackles the pressure female artists face regarding their appearance and the expectations tied to being on stage.
Musically, the single contains a notable nod to rock history: the iconic riff from Deep Purple’s Smoke On The Water is played backwards, becoming one of the song’s defining elements.
Mothers Of Thunder will also mark Thundermother’s debut with Napalm Records. The band describes the album as a work built on powerful riffs, driving grooves, energetic vocals and a blend of fun moments and more serious themes.
