I Rammstein portano sul grande schermo uno dei capitoli più spettacolari della loro storia live con Rammstein – Live In Mexico City, il nuovo film-concerto dedicato ai tre memorabili show tenuti dalla band tedesca al Foro Sol di Città del Messico nell’ottobre 2022. Il film arriverà nei cinema di tutto il mondo a partire dal 4 novembre 2026, per un periodo limitato.
Il progetto è stato realizzato utilizzando le immagini delle tre serate del 1°, 2 e 4 ottobre 2022, che complessivamente hanno richiamato quasi 200.000 spettatori. Le riprese sono state effettuate in 4K, con l’obiettivo di restituire sul grande schermo la potenza scenica, le luci, le fiamme e l’imponente produzione che hanno caratterizzato lo Stadium Tour dei Rammstein.
Alla regia troviamo Paul Dugdale, filmmaker specializzato in grandi produzioni musicali dal vivo, con precedenti lavori legati ad artisti come The Rolling Stones, Adele, Elton John e Taylor Swift. La sua esperienza contribuisce a trasformare le tre performance messicane in un vero documento cinematografico della dimensione spettacolare raggiunta dai Rammstein sui palchi degli stadi.
La scaletta attraversa diverse fasi della carriera della band e comprende brani come “Armee Der Tristen”, “Deutschland”, “Du Riechst So Gut”, “Sonne” e “Du Hast”, oltre alla particolare presenza di “Te Quiero Puta!”, canzone particolarmente legata al rapporto dei Rammstein con il pubblico latinoamericano.
Live In Mexico City rappresenta anche una testimonianza dell’imponente era degli stadi vissuta dai Rammstein tra il 2019 e il 2024, periodo nel quale la band ha portato la propria produzione in grandi arene internazionali, trasformando ogni concerto in una combinazione di musica, teatro, scenografie e pirotecnica. Le immagini raccolte durante quei concerti restituiscono quindi non soltanto la performance dei Rammstein, ma anche l'energia e la partecipazione di decine di migliaia di fan.
Particolare attenzione è stata riservata alla resa cinematografica dello spettacolo. La fotografia in alta definizione permette di valorizzare la complessa scenografia, mentre le riprese ravvicinate consentono di cogliere dettagli che durante un concerto visto dagli spalti possono facilmente sfuggire. Il risultato punta così a offrire al pubblico una prospettiva completamente diversa rispetto alla semplice esperienza dal vivo.

Rammstein bring one of the most spectacular chapters of their live history to the big screen with Rammstein – Live In Mexico City, the new concert film dedicated to the three memorable shows performed by the German band at Mexico City’s Foro Sol in October 2022. The film will arrive in cinemas worldwide starting November 4, 2026, for a limited run.
The project was created using footage from the three nights — October 1, 2 and 4, 2022 — which collectively drew nearly 200,000 spectators. Shot in 4K, the production aims to capture on the big screen the full force of Rammstein’s staging, lights, flames and massive setup that defined the band’s Stadium Tour.
Directed by Paul Dugdale, a filmmaker known for major live music productions with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Adele, Elton John and Taylor Swift, the film transforms the three Mexican performances into a true cinematic document of the monumental scale Rammstein achieved on stadium stages.
The setlist spans multiple phases of the band’s career and includes tracks such as “Armee Der Tristen,” “Deutschland,” “Du Riechst So Gut,” “Sonne” and “Du Hast,” along with the special inclusion of “Te Quiero Puta!”, a song strongly tied to Rammstein’s relationship with their Latin American audience.
Live In Mexico City also serves as a testament to the band’s massive stadium era from 2019 to 2024, a period in which Rammstein brought their production to major international arenas, turning each concert into a fusion of music, theatre, staging and pyrotechnics. Particular attention was given to the cinematic rendering of the show. The production also brings to the big screen the elements that have shaped Rammstein’s unmistakable identity: Till Lindemann’s commanding presence, the guitars of Richard Zven Kruspe and Paul Landers, the rhythm section of Oliver Riedel and Christoph Schneider, and Flake Lorenz’s keyboards. The big‑screen debut is set for November 4, 2026. Ticket presales and theater information will be available starting September 23, while the project will also continue in audio format: the accompanying live album will be released physically and digitally on November 20, 2026.
