I The Darkness celebrano la propria carriera con “Crock Of Hits”, la loro prima raccolta ufficiale dei più grandi successi, curata personalmente dalla band e in uscita il 27 novembre 2026 per Warner Music.
La compilation ripercorrerà l'intero percorso discografico del gruppo britannico, dagli esordi di “Permission To Land” del 2003 fino al più recente “Dreams On Toast”, attraversando otto album in studio. Tra i brani presenti figurano alcuni dei classici che hanno contribuito a rendere inconfondibile il sound della band, tra cui “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”, “Love Is Only A Feeling”, “Growing On Me”, “One Way Ticket” e “Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End)”.
La pubblicazione sarà disponibile in diversi formati, tra cui CD e vinile, con le edizioni più estese che includeranno anche registrazioni dal vivo, sessioni radiofoniche e materiale aggiuntivo. Tra le sorprese figura inoltre una nuova versione di “Masters Of The Universe”, realizzata con la partecipazione di Brian May dei Queen.
Per celebrare l'uscita, The Darkness saranno protagonisti di un concerto speciale e particolarmente esclusivo il 17 settembre al Moth Club di Londra, locale con una capienza di appena 300 persone. Un appuntamento decisamente intimo se confrontato con la successiva esibizione londinese della band, prevista alla O2 Arena, che può accogliere circa 20.000 spettatori.
L'appuntamento londinese farà da anteprima al tour britannico e irlandese “The Best Of The Darkness”, in programma nel dicembre 2026. La raccolta rappresenta così un vero viaggio attraverso oltre vent'anni di carriera, dagli esordi che portarono il gruppo alla ribalta internazionale fino alla produzione più recente.
Il percorso dei The Darkness è strettamente legato a un approccio ironico e spettacolare al rock, capace di combinare riff potenti, melodie immediate e una forte componente scenica. Al centro di tutto rimane la voce inconfondibile di Justin Hawkins, affiancato dal fratello Dan Hawkins alla chitarra.

The Darkness: the “Crock of Hits” Best‑Of Arrives, Plus a Special London Concert
The Darkness celebrate their career with Crock Of Hits, their first official greatest‑hits collection, personally curated by the band and set for release on November 27, 2026 via Warner Music.
The compilation retraces the entire discography of the British group, from their 2003 debut Permission To Land to the more recent Dreams On Toast, spanning eight studio albums. The tracklist includes several classics that helped define the band’s unmistakable sound, such as “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” “Love Is Only A Feeling,” “Growing On Me,” “One Way Ticket” and “Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End).”
The release will be available in multiple formats, including CD and vinyl, with expanded editions featuring live recordings, radio sessions and additional material. Among the surprises is a brand‑new version of “Masters Of The Universe,” recorded with the participation of Queen’s Brian May.
To mark the release, The Darkness will perform a special and highly exclusive concert on September 17 at London’s Moth Club, a venue with a capacity of just 300 people. It’s an intimate event, especially when compared to the band’s next London appearance at the O2 Arena, which can host around 20,000 fans.
The London show will serve as a preview for the UK and Ireland tour The Best Of The Darkness, scheduled for December 2026.
