L’estate italiana non ha ancora spento i suoi amplificatori. Anche nell’ultima settimana di agosto, il calendario live propone diversi appuntamenti dedicati al rock, al punk, all’hard rock e alle sonorità alternative, con artisti italiani e internazionali pronti a salire sui palchi di alcune delle location più interessanti della Penisola.
Tra gli appuntamenti più attesi c’è il Suburbiae Unexpected Fest 2026, in programma all’Arena De Carolis di Teramo venerdì 28 e sabato 29 agosto. La prima giornata, a ingresso gratuito, sarà dedicata alla scena underground con i Bull Brigade come headliner, affiancati da Cyborg Zero, Alsaint, Vibratacore, Mud, Rupe, Inerdzia e Atom Lux, vincitori del contest UnderSub. La serata proporrà punk, hardcore, stoner e alternative rock, con apertura dei cancelli alle 16:30 e concerti dalle 17:00.
Sabato 29 agosto il festival alzerà ulteriormente il volume con una line-up internazionale. Sul palco saliranno gli australiani Wolfmother, protagonisti di una delle performance più attese della manifestazione, insieme agli italiani Messa, agli ucraini Stoned Jesus, agli italiani Shores of Null e ai Lowmax, vincitori del contest UnderSub. L’apertura dei cancelli è prevista alle 17:00, mentre i concerti inizieranno alle 17:30.
Sempre il 28 agosto, a Bellaria-Igea Marina, sarà invece il momento dei Finley, protagonisti di un concerto al Beky Bay. La band pop-punk italiana porterà sul palco il proprio repertorio, tra grandi successi e materiale più recente, in uno show che promette energia e nostalgia per una delle formazioni che hanno segnato il rock italiano degli anni Duemila. Il concerto è in programma alle 21:00.
Il weekend proseguirà poi sabato 29 agosto con altri appuntamenti dedicati alle chitarre e alla scena indipendente. A Cesena, i Bull Brigade saranno protagonisti del Quartolato Festival, proseguendo così il loro tour estivo dopo la partecipazione al Suburbiae Fest.
La settimana si apre inoltre con un appuntamento molto atteso a Roma: Djo, il progetto musicale di Joe Keery, sarà sul palco dell’Auditorium Parco della Musica il 24 agosto, mentre il 25 agosto è prevista una seconda data al Parco della Musica di Segrate, nell’area milanese.
Il quadro conferma una tendenza ormai consolidata: anche quando l’estate volge al termine, la musica dal vivo continua a trovare spazio in tutta Italia. Dai grandi nomi internazionali alle band della scena punk e underground, passando per gli artisti italiani che hanno fatto la storia del rock più recente, gli ultimi giorni di agosto offrono ancora numerose occasioni per vivere la musica dal vivo.
E con eventi come il Suburbiae Unexpected Fest, il concerto dei Finley al Beky Bay e gli appuntamenti di Djo, il rock dimostra ancora una volta di non essere affatto pronto ad andare in vacanza.

ROCK DOESN’T TAKE A VACATION: THE ITALIAN SUMMER CONTINUES WITH CONCERTS AND FESTIVALS
Italy’s summer hasn’t turned off its amplifiers yet. Even in the final week of August, the live calendar offers a series of events dedicated to rock, punk, hard rock and alternative sounds, with Italian and international artists ready to take the stage in some of the country’s most compelling locations.
Among the most anticipated events is the Suburbiae Unexpected Fest 2026, scheduled at the Arena De Carolis in Teramo on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August. The first day, with free admission, will spotlight the underground scene with Bull Brigade as headliners, joined by Cyborg Zero, Alsaint, Vibratacore, Mud, Rupe, Inerdzia and Atom Lux, winners of the UnderSub contest. The evening will deliver punk, hardcore, stoner and alternative rock, with gates opening at 4:30 PM and shows starting at 5:00 PM.
On Saturday 29 August, the festival will turn up the volume with an international line-up. The stage will host Australian rockers Wolfmother, one of the most anticipated performances of the event, alongside Italy’s Messa, Ukraine’s Stoned Jesus, Italy’s Shores of Null, and Lowmax, winners of the UnderSub contest. Gates will open at 5:00 PM, with concerts starting at 5:30 PM.
Also on 28 August, in Bellaria‑Igea Marina, it will be time for Finley, performing live at Beky Bay. The Italian pop‑punk band will bring a set packed with major hits and newer material, promising energy and nostalgia from one of the groups that shaped Italian rock in the 2000s. The show is scheduled for 9:00 PM.
The weekend continues on Saturday 29 August with more guitar‑driven and independent‑scene events. In Cesena, Bull Brigade will headline the Quartolato Festival, extending their summer tour after their appearance at Suburbiae Fest.
The week also opens with a highly awaited date in Rome: Djo, the musical project of Joe Keery, will perform at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on 24 August, followed by a second show on 25 August at Parco della Musica in Segrate, near Milan.
The overall picture confirms a well‑established trend: even as summer draws to a close, live music continues to thrive across Italy. From major international names to punk and underground acts, and Italian artists who shaped more recent rock history, the final days of August still offer plenty of opportunities to experience live music.
And with events like the Suburbiae Unexpected Fest, Finley’s show at Beky Bay and Djo’s performances, rock once again proves it’s nowhere near ready to go on vacation.
