Gli SKATARR0 conquistano un importante traguardo nel percorso di Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival e staccano il biglietto per le Finali Nazionali della 39ª edizione del contest dedicato alla musica emergente italiana. La band ha ottenuto il pass al termine della Finale Centro Italia, andata in scena il 16 agosto a Livorno, nell’ambito della manifestazione Livorno Food & Rock.
La serata ha riunito sedici progetti artistici, suddivisi tra le sezioni Rock e Trend, chiamati a contendersi l’accesso alla fase nazionale del festival. Al termine delle esibizioni, la giuria tecnica ha selezionato otto artisti e band per ciascuna categoria. Nella sezione Rock, insieme agli SKATARR0, hanno conquistato la qualificazione anche Phera & Gentleman, Undercurrents, Prototipo, Dom e Dark Blues Band, Mick, Luca Vannini & Targhet B e I Deboli.
Per gli SKATARR0 il risultato rappresenta la conferma di un percorso iniziato nelle precedenti selezioni territoriali. La band aveva infatti conquistato l’accesso alla Finale Centro Italia dopo la tappa regionale Lazio e Abruzzo disputata a Rocca di Papa, dove era stata inserita tra i progetti qualificati nella categoria Rock.
A Livorno, la formazione della Tuscia ha quindi compiuto il passo decisivo, imponendosi nella propria categoria e guadagnando l’opportunità di esibirsi sul palco del Teatro Ariston di Sanremo, sede della fase conclusiva del festival. Secondo quanto riportato dalle cronache dell’evento, la performance degli SKATARR0 ha convinto la giuria anche grazie a “IGNIORANTE”, brano inedito caratterizzato da un linguaggio volutamente irriverente e fuori dagli schemi.
Il progetto SKATARR0 nasce a Vetralla, in provincia di Viterbo, dall’incontro di un gruppo di amici accomunati dalla passione per la musica e dalla voglia di costruire un’identità artistica libera da convenzioni. Il loro approccio combina punk, ironia e spettacolarità, con una proposta che punta sull’impatto immediato delle canzoni e sulla dimensione energica delle esibizioni dal vivo.
La componente ironica è uno degli elementi distintivi del gruppo, che guarda alla tradizione del punk italiano e alla comicità musicale come fonti di ispirazione. Nei loro brani convivono così provocazione, ritmo e umorismo, all’interno di uno stile pensato per coinvolgere direttamente il pubblico e trasformare il concerto in uno spettacolo.
La qualificazione alle Finali Nazionali rappresenta ora una nuova sfida per la band. Gli SKATARR0 saranno infatti protagonisti della fase conclusiva della 39ª edizione di Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival, in programma l’11 e il 12 settembre 2026 al Teatro Ariston di Sanremo. Sarà un’occasione importante per confrontarsi con gli altri progetti selezionati in tutta Italia e portare sul prestigioso palco sanremese la propria personale interpretazione del rock emergente.
Per la formazione della Tuscia si tratta di un risultato significativo, soprattutto considerando il percorso che ha portato la band dalle selezioni regionali fino alla conquista della Finale Centro Italia. Un cammino costruito attraverso le esibizioni dal vivo e culminato nella qualificazione nazionale ottenuta a Livorno.
Ora gli SKATARR0 guardano a Sanremo con l’obiettivo di trasformare questa opportunità in un nuovo momento di crescita artistica. L’appuntamento con il Teatro Ariston è fissato per settembre: una nuova tappa per una band che fa dell’energia, dell’ironia e della voglia di rompere gli schemi i propri principali punti di forza.

SKATARR0, FROM THE TRIUMPH IN LIVORNO TO THE SANREMO ROCK NATIONAL FINALS
The SKATARR0 have achieved a major milestone in their journey through the Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival, securing their spot in the National Finals of the 39th edition of Italy’s leading contest for emerging artists. The band earned their pass at the end of the Central Italy Final, held on August 16 in Livorno as part of the Livorno Food & Rock event.
The evening brought together sixteen artistic projects, divided between the Rock and Trend sections, all competing for access to the national phase of the festival. At the end of the performances, the technical jury selected eight artists and bands for each category. In the Rock section, alongside SKATARR0, the qualifiers included Phera & Gentleman, Undercurrents, Prototipo, Dom e Dark Blues Band, Mick, Luca Vannini & Targhet B, and I Deboli.
For SKATARR0, the result confirms a path already set in motion during the previous territorial selections. The band had earned access to the Central Italy Final after the Lazio–Abruzzo regional round in Rocca di Papa, where they were selected among the qualifying projects in the Rock category.
In Livorno, the Tuscia‑based band took the decisive step, standing out in their category and earning the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, home to the festival’s concluding phase. According to reports from the event, SKATARR0’s performance impressed the jury thanks in part to “IGNIORANTE”, an unreleased track marked by deliberately irreverent, unconventional language.
The SKATARR0 project was born in Vetralla, in the province of Viterbo, from a group of friends united by their passion for music and the desire to build an artistic identity free from conventions. Their approach blends punk, irony and theatricality, offering songs with immediate impact and live performances driven by raw energy.
Irony is one of the group’s defining traits, drawing inspiration from Italian punk tradition and musical comedy. Their songs combine provocation, rhythm and humor, shaping a style designed to engage the audience directly and turn each concert into a full‑on show.
Qualifying for the National Finals now represents a new challenge for the band. SKATARR0 will take part in the final stage of the 39th Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival, scheduled for September 11 and 12, 2026 at the Teatro Ariston. It will be an important opportunity to compete with other selected projects from across Italy and bring their own interpretation of emerging rock to the prestigious Sanremo stage.
For the Tuscia formation, this is a significant achievement, especially considering the path that led them from regional selections to the Central Italy Final. A journey built through live performances and culminating in the national qualification earned in Livorno.
Now SKATARR0 look toward Sanremo with the goal of turning this opportunity into a new moment of artistic growth. The appointment at the Teatro Ariston is set for September — another step forward for a band whose strengths lie in energy, irony and the desire to break the rules.
