Dal 4 al 6 settembre 2026, il cuore del Carso triestino tornerà a vibrare al ritmo del rock e del metal con il Rock Camp Festival, appuntamento dedicato alla musica dal vivo e alla community rock. La manifestazione si svolgerà a Prepotto, nel territorio di Duino Aurisina, in provincia di Trieste, presso la Frazione Prepotto 10/D, in una location immersa nel verde e particolarmente suggestiva.
Per tre giorni, da venerdì 4 a domenica 6 settembre, il pubblico potrà vivere una vera e propria full immersion nella musica rock, hard rock, metal e nelle sue numerose contaminazioni. Il festival propone una formula pensata non soltanto per assistere ai concerti, ma per vivere l'intero evento a stretto contatto con la natura e con gli altri appassionati. Uno degli elementi distintivi del Rock Camp è infatti la possibilità di usufruire del camping gratuito per i possessori del biglietto, portando la propria tenda e soggiornando direttamente nell'area del festival.
La scelta di Prepotto non è casuale. Il festival trova spazio in un ambiente caratteristico del Carso triestino, territorio famoso per il suo paesaggio roccioso, i boschi e le particolari caratteristiche naturali. In questo contesto, la musica diventa parte di un'esperienza più ampia, fatta di concerti, campeggio, convivialità e vita all'aria aperta.
Il programma musicale guarda a diverse anime della scena rock e metal, alternando realtà internazionali, formazioni italiane e gruppi legati al territorio. Tra i nomi annunciati figura Jelusick, progetto guidato dal cantante croato Dino Jelusić, musicista conosciuto a livello internazionale anche per le sue esperienze con realtà importanti dell'hard rock, tra cui Whitesnake e Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Il suo progetto personale propone un potente mix di hard rock, heavy metal e progressive, con una particolare attenzione alla componente vocale e alla dimensione spettacolare del live.
Spazio anche alla scena locale con i Cavana, formazione triestina nata nel 2022 e caratterizzata da un sound che attraversa alternative rock e alternative metal. La band è composta da Giorgia Fumarola alla voce, Lorenzo Bonin alla chitarra, Lorenzo Bernardini al basso e Simone Tirello alla batteria, e rappresenta una delle realtà più interessanti della scena emergente del territorio.
Nella giornata conclusiva è inoltre prevista la presenza dei Reverber, formazione italiana legata al thrash metal e attiva dal 2007. Il gruppo guarda alla tradizione del thrash della Bay Area e alle sonorità europee del genere, proponendo un'impronta decisamente old school e orientata alla dimensione live.
La proposta del Rock Camp non si limita comunque alla musica. L'area del festival è concepita come uno spazio da vivere durante l'intera giornata, con possibilità di ristoro, merchandising e momenti di incontro tra pubblico e appassionati. L'organizzazione prevede inoltre proposte vegetariane e gluten-free nell'area food, mentre il merchandising permette di portare a casa un ricordo dell'evento e degli artisti protagonisti.

ROCK CAMP 2026, PREPOTTO LIGHTS UP: BIG NAMES FROM ROCK AND METAL ANNOUNCED
From September 4 to 6, 2026, the heart of the Trieste Karst will once again pulse to the rhythm of rock and metal with the Rock Camp Festival, an event dedicated to live music and the rock community. The festival will take place in Prepotto, in the municipality of Duino Aurisina (Trieste), at Frazione Prepotto 10/D — a location surrounded by greenery and particularly atmospheric.
For three days, from Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6, the audience will experience a full immersion in rock, hard rock, metal and all their many contaminations. The festival offers a format designed not only for attending concerts, but for living the entire event in close contact with nature and fellow fans. One of Rock Camp’s defining features is the free camping area available to all ticket holders, who can bring their own tent and stay directly within the festival grounds.
The choice of Prepotto is no coincidence. The festival takes place in a characteristic corner of the Trieste Karst, a territory known for its rocky landscape, forests and unique natural features. In this setting, music becomes part of a broader experience made of concerts, camping, community and outdoor living.
The musical program embraces different sides of the rock and metal scene, alternating international acts, Italian bands and groups connected to the local territory. Among the announced names is Jelusick, the project led by Croatian singer Dino Jelusić, internationally known for his work with major hard rock acts such as Whitesnake and Trans‑Siberian Orchestra. His personal project delivers a powerful blend of hard rock, heavy metal and progressive, with particular focus on vocal performance and the spectacular dimension of live shows.
There is also space for the local scene with Cavana, a Trieste‑based band formed in 2022 and characterized by a sound that moves between alternative rock and alternative metal. The band features Giorgia Fumarola on vocals, Lorenzo Bonin on guitar, Lorenzo Bernardini on bass and Simone Tirello on drums, and represents one of the most promising emerging acts in the area.
