È entrato nel vivo il Lars Rock Fest 2026, uno degli appuntamenti estivi più apprezzati del panorama musicale indipendente italiano. La manifestazione, a ingresso gratuito, ha preso ufficialmente il via sabato 27 giugno con il tradizionale warm-up ospitato nella suggestiva Rocca Medievale di Castiglione del Lago (Perugia), dove si sono esibiti gli Allah-Las, anticipando l'atmosfera del festival principale.
Il cuore dell'evento è in programma dal 10 al 12 luglio 2026 a Chiusi (Siena), che per tre giorni si trasforma in un punto di riferimento per gli appassionati di rock, alternative, post-punk, indie e musica d'autore internazionale. Fedele alla propria filosofia, il Lars Rock Fest conferma anche quest'anno il format a ingresso gratuito, proponendo un cartellone capace di affiancare artisti affermati a nuove realtà emergenti della scena contemporanea.
Il programma si apre venerdì 10 luglio con una serata che vede protagonisti gli statunitensi Deerhoof, storica formazione dell'avant-rock internazionale, affiancati dai britannici Plantoid e dagli Acanto, vincitori del Rock Contest di Controradio.
Sabato 11 luglio sarà invece la volta dei Cardinals, degli Heartworms e degli Skinner, tre progetti che rappresentano alcune delle proposte più interessanti della nuova scena alternativa europea, tra sonorità post-punk, rock contemporaneo e sperimentazione.
La chiusura del festival, domenica 12 luglio, è affidata a Geordie Greep, tra i musicisti più innovativi degli ultimi anni, insieme ai Ta Ga Da e ai Quercia, per una conclusione che conferma l'attenzione del Lars Rock Fest verso la ricerca musicale e la qualità artistica.
Ad accompagnare il programma live sono previsti DJ set ogni giorno, contribuendo a mantenere viva l'atmosfera del festival durante l'intera manifestazione.
Come da tradizione, il Lars Rock Fest non è soltanto musica dal vivo, ma un evento culturale a tutto tondo. Tra le iniziative collaterali trovano spazio "Open Book – Fiera dell'Editoria Indipendente", laboratori, presentazioni, incontri e numerose attività dedicate al pubblico. Non mancano il Mercatino del Disco, lo Street Market, aree ristoro con specialità locali, proposte etniche e vegetariane, pub, street food, birreria e cocktail bar.
Grande attenzione è riservata anche alla sostenibilità ambientale attraverso il progetto Eco-Fest, che promuove il riciclo, il riutilizzo dei materiali e la riduzione della plastica monouso e degli sprechi, confermando l'impegno della manifestazione verso un'organizzazione sempre più responsabile.
