sabato 18 ottobre 2025, il palco del Biko Club di Milano ospiterà una delle band più originali e travolgenti del panorama rock internazionale: The Inspector Cluzo. Il duo francese, composto da Laurent “Malcolm” Lacrouts (chitarra e voce) e Mathieu “Phil” Jourdain (batteria), farà tappa nel capoluogo lombardo per presentare il suo decimo album in studio, “Less Is More”, nell’ambito del nuovo tour europeo.
Originari di Mont-de-Marsan, nel sud-ovest della Francia, Malcolm e Phil suonano insieme dal 2008, dopo aver militato nella band funk Wolfunkind. La loro formazione è tanto insolita quanto affascinante: entrambi sono musicisti autodidatti, agricoltori biologici e imprenditori indipendenti. Gestiscono una fattoria agroecologica chiamata Lou Casse, dove coltivano cereali e allevano animali, applicando principi di sostenibilità e autosufficienza.
La loro musica è un mix esplosivo di rock, blues, funk e hard rock, suonato rigorosamente senza basso. Solo chitarra, batteria e voce, per un sound diretto, potente e autentico. I loro live sono celebri per l’energia travolgente e la totale assenza di basi preregistrate: tutto è suonato dal vivo, con una grinta che conquista anche il pubblico più esigente.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the stage of Biko Club in Milan will host one of the most original and electrifying bands on the international rock scene: The Inspector Cluzo. The French duo, made up of Laurent “Malcolm” Lacrouts (guitar and vocals) and Mathieu “Phil” Jourdain (drums), will stop in the Lombard capital to present their tenth studio album, “Less Is More,” as part of their new European tour.
Hailing from Mont-de-Marsan in southwestern France, Malcolm and Phil have been playing together since 2008, after their time in the funk band Wolfunkind. Their setup is as unusual as it is fascinating: both are self-taught musicians, organic farmers, and independent entrepreneurs. They run an agroecological farm called Lou Casse, where they grow grains and raise animals, applying principles of sustainability and self-sufficiency.
Their music is an explosive mix of rock, blues, funk, and hard rock, performed strictly without a bass guitar. Just guitar, drums, and vocals — delivering a sound that’s raw, powerful, and authentic. Their live shows are renowned for their overwhelming energy and complete absence of backing tracks: everything is played live, with a passion that wins over even the most demanding crowds.
