I Queens of the Stone Age rendono omaggio a David Bowie e annunciano una nuova tournée nordamericana con i Pixies.

Josh Homme is back in the spotlight with two major announcements that have captured the attention of alternative rock fans. The Queens of the Stone Age frontman paid tribute to David Bowie during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, sporting a look inspired by the one worn by the Thin White Duke on the same show in 1980.
The band performed on October 21, debuting “Where the Goth Girls At?” live for the first time. The track is taken from their upcoming album Perfecth, scheduled for release on October 30, 2026. The performance offers a glimpse of the band's continued exploration of its distinctive sound, blending powerful riffs, dark atmospheres and experimentation.
And there's more. Queens of the Stone Age have announced a US tour for May 2027, with the Pixies as special guests and experimental rap act Wheelchair Sports Camp opening every show. The tour will kick off on May 1 at Viejas Arena in San Diego and wrap up on May 24 at TD Garden in Boston, making stops in several major American cities along the way.
Among the most eagerly anticipated dates are shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, where the band will perform on May 7. For Queens of the Stone Age, the upcoming tour marks another chapter in a career built on a distinctive blend of hard rock, psychedelia and alternative sounds. The addition of the Pixies, pioneers of indie rock, makes the tour an especially exciting prospect for fans of alternative music.
The shows will also offer an opportunity to hear the band's classic material live, from No One Knows to Go with the Flow, alongside the new songs. The meeting of two of alternative rock's most influential acts promises nights packed with energy, powerful guitars and uncompromising sounds.
The tribute to Bowie adds a symbolic dimension to this moment, honoring an artist who continually redefined the boundaries of rock music and inspired generations of musicians.
