A PERFECT CIRCLE, THE BIG COMEBACK: NEW SINGLE AND TOUR ANNOUNCED FOR 2027
A Perfect Circle are back with two major announcements: the band led by Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel have released a brand-new single and unveiled an extensive North American tour for spring 2027.
The new track, titled "To Whom It May Concern," is the group's second single of 2026, following "Starless," which reached No. 1 on the Active Rock radio chart in the United States. The song was written earlier this year and recorded at Howerdel's Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California. Howerdel also handled production duties, while the mix was completed by Matty Green. Longtime collaborator Josh Freese performed drums on the recording.
The new single reinforces the band's commitment to the sound that has defined A Perfect Circle throughout their career, blending atmospheric intensity, sophisticated arrangements, and a powerful mix of alternative and hard rock influences. Its release comes at a particularly significant moment, as the group shifts its focus back toward new music and live performances.
The band's latest chapter arrives as A Perfect Circle look firmly toward the future. Their upcoming tour will kick off on April 13, 2027, in Vancouver and run through June 13, taking the band across numerous cities in both the United States and Canada.
Among the newly announced stops are several prestigious venues, including Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Los Angeles' iconic Hollywood Bowl. Joining A Perfect Circle on selected dates will be Puscifer, who will appear at the Canadian shows and the Detroit concert, while The Cult will support the band on the remaining U.S. dates.
For Italian fans, no European shows have been announced as part of the tour so far. However, A Perfect Circle are already scheduled to perform a series of concerts across Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in the coming months.
The band's latest move combines new music with major live dates, leaving the door open for further announcements in the months ahead. Attention is now focused on whether this renewed creative momentum could eventually lead to additional new material.
With "To Whom It May Concern," A Perfect Circle add another chapter to their story and once again take center stage on the international rock scene.
The single became available yesterday, while anticipation continues to build for the band's return to the stage in 2027. One thing is certain: A Perfect Circle are officially back in motion.
