Dopo quasi due anni di silenzio, i Blind Channel sono pronti a tornare sulla scena con un nuovo capitolo della loro carriera. La band finlandese di Oulu, tra le realtà più interessanti del modern rock e del metal contemporaneo europeo, ha annunciato il nuovo album in studio, “Painstream”, e un lungo tour europeo che nel 2027 farà tappa anche in Italia.
“Painstream” sarà il sesto album in studio dei Blind Channel e arriverà ufficialmente il 30 ottobre 2026 per Century Media Records. Il disco sarà composto da dodici brani e rappresenterà il ritorno della band dopo un periodo di pausa durante il quale i cinque musicisti hanno lavorato a una nuova fase artistica, puntando su un sound più maturo, diretto e personale. Tra i brani figura anche “Into The Void”, realizzato con la partecipazione di Aaron Pauley, bassista e cantante degli Of Mice & Men.
Il concept dell’album ruota attorno al dolore come esperienza universale e come possibile elemento di connessione tra le persone. I Blind Channel affrontano temi personali, sociali ed esistenziali, cercando però di andare oltre la dimensione più cupa per arrivare a un messaggio di speranza. Un approccio che sembra accompagnare anche la nuova direzione musicale della band.
Il ritorno è stato anticipato dai due singoli “Diana” e “No Encores In A Swan Song”, scelti per presentare il nuovo corso del gruppo e dare un primo assaggio di “Painstream”. Il nuovo album arriva dopo “EXIT EMOTIONS” del 2024 e segna quindi una nuova partenza per una formazione che negli ultimi anni ha costruito una solida dimensione internazionale.
La storia dei Blind Channel ha raggiunto una svolta decisiva nel 2021, quando la band ha vinto la selezione finlandese per l’Eurovision Song Contest con “Dark Side”. A Rotterdam il gruppo ha conquistato il sesto posto, ottenendo una forte attenzione internazionale. Da quel momento sono arrivati tour, singoli di successo e importanti riconoscimenti in patria, consolidando l’identità dei Blind Channel come una delle formazioni finlandesi più rappresentative della nuova scena rock alternativa.
Il nuovo album sarà accompagnato da un importante calendario dal vivo. Dopo il concerto di ritorno previsto a Helsinki il 14 novembre 2026 e due appuntamenti in Giappone, a Tokyo e Osaka, la band partirà nel febbraio 2027 per un esteso tour europeo da headliner.
E per i fan italiani l’appuntamento è fissato per giovedì 18 febbraio 2027, quando i Blind Channel saliranno sul palco dei Magazzini Generali di Milano, in via Pietrasanta 14. La data milanese sarà inserita in un tour che toccherà numerose città europee: la partenza è prevista il 9 febbraio da Amburgo, seguita da Berlino, Varsavia, Cracovia, Praga, Lipsia, Monaco, Vienna e, dopo Milano, Zurigo, Stoccarda, Francoforte, Parigi e diverse città del Regno Unito, fino agli appuntamenti finali in Belgio, Paesi Bassi e Germania.
Con “Painstream” e il nuovo tour europeo, i Blind Channel si preparano quindi a trasformare il lungo silenzio in una vera e propria ripartenza. Un ritorno che unisce nuova musica, una rinnovata identità artistica e una dimensione live particolarmente ambiziosa, con Milano pronta a diventare una delle tappe italiane più attese della stagione rock 2027.

Blind Channel: New Album and Return to Italy in 2027
After nearly two years of silence, Blind Channel are ready to return with a new chapter in their career.
The Finnish band from Oulu—one of the most compelling acts in modern rock and contemporary European metal—have announced their new studio album, Painstream, along with an extensive European tour that will also bring them back to Italy in 2027.
Painstream will be Blind Channel’s sixth studio album and is set for official release on 30 October 2026 via Century Media Records. The record will feature twelve tracks and marks the band’s return after a period of pause during which the five musicians worked on a new artistic phase, aiming for a more mature, direct and personal sound. Among the songs is Into The Void, featuring Aaron Pauley, bassist and vocalist of Of Mice & Men.
The album’s concept revolves around pain as a universal experience and as a potential point of connection between people. Blind Channel explore personal, social and existential themes, while also trying to move beyond the darker aspects to reach a message of hope—a direction that seems to reflect the band’s evolving musical identity.
The comeback has been anticipated by two singles, Diana and No Encores In A Swan Song, chosen to introduce the band’s new creative path and offer a first taste of Painstream. The album follows EXIT EMOTIONS (2024), marking a fresh start for a group that has built a solid international presence in recent years.
Blind Channel’s breakthrough came in 2021, when they won Finland’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with Dark Side. In Rotterdam, the band placed sixth, gaining significant international attention. Since then, they have released successful singles, toured extensively and earned major recognition at home, solidifying their status as one of Finland’s leading acts in the new alternative rock scene.
The new album will be supported by an important run of live shows. After their comeback concert in Helsinki on 14 November 2026 and two dates in Japan—Tokyo and Osaka—the band will embark on a full European headlining tour starting in February 2027.
For Italian fans, the key date is Thursday, 18 February 2027, when Blind Channel will take the stage at Magazzini Generali in Milan, Via Pietrasanta 14. The Milan show is part of a tour that will visit numerous European cities: kicking off on 9 February in Hamburg, followed by Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Leipzig, Munich, Vienna and—after Milan—Zurich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Paris and several UK cities, before concluding with dates in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
With Painstream and the new European tour, Blind Channel are set to turn their long silence into a true rebirth. A return that blends new music, a renewed artistic identity and an ambitious live dimension—with Milan ready to become one of the most anticipated Italian stops of the 2027 rock season.
