I Fontaines D.C. hanno svelato il titolo del loro quinto album in studio: “Dopamine Chamber”. La band irlandese ha annunciato il nuovo progetto attraverso un misterioso teaser pubblicato sui propri canali ufficiali, chiudendo il video proprio con il titolo dell’album e la scritta “2026”. Il disco sarà quindi pubblicato nel corso di quest’anno, anche se la data precisa di uscita non è stata ancora annunciata ufficialmente.
Nati a Dublino nel 2014, i Fontaines D.C. sono oggi una delle realtà più importanti del rock alternativo internazionale. La formazione comprende Grian Chatten alla voce, Carlos O’Connell e Conor Curley alle chitarre, Conor Deegan III al basso e Tom Coll alla batteria.
Il loro percorso discografico è iniziato nel 2019 con “Dogrel”, album d’esordio che li ha imposti sulla scena grazie a un post-punk intenso, ruvido e profondamente legato alla cultura e all’identità di Dublino. “Dopamine Chamber” arriva quindi dopo uno dei momenti più importanti della carriera del gruppo. I Fontaines D.C. hanno già iniziato a presentare dal vivo alcuni brani inediti, tra cui “Six Shot Morning” e “Marianne”, aumentando l’attesa per il nuovo lavoro.

Fontaines D.C.: “Dopamine Chamber” Is the Title of the New Album
The Fontaines D.C. have unveiled the title of their fifth studio album: “Dopamine Chamber.” The Irish band announced the new project through a mysterious teaser shared on their official channels, closing the video with the album title and the word “2026.” The record will therefore be released sometime this year, although the exact date has not yet been officially announced.
Formed in Dublin in 2014, Fontaines D.C. are now one of the most important acts in international alternative rock. The lineup features Grian Chatten on vocals, Carlos O’Connell and Conor Curley on guitars, Conor Deegan III on bass, and Tom Coll on drums.
Their discography began in 2019 with Dogrel, a debut album that established them on the scene thanks to its intense, gritty post‑punk sound, deeply rooted in Dublin’s culture and identity.
