Dopo oltre quarant'anni di carriera, i Ministry si preparano a chiudere definitivamente la propria storia. La leggendaria formazione guidata da Al Jourgensen ha annunciato che il prossimo disco sarà l'ultimo album in studio della band, accompagnato da un tour d'addio internazionale che porterà i pionieri dell'industrial metal sui palchi europei e nordamericani per un'ultima serie di concerti prima dello scioglimento definitivo.
L'album conclusivo, Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery), sarà pubblicato il 30 ottobre 2026 e rappresenterà il diciassettesimo lavoro in studio dei Ministry. Il disco segnerà la conclusione di una carriera iniziata nel 1981 e destinata a lasciare un'impronta indelebile nella storia dell'industrial metal grazie a un sound innovativo e all'approccio diretto e provocatorio che ha sempre contraddistinto Al Jourgensen e compagni.
Ad anticipare l'uscita del disco è il singolo "Burned Out", che conferma la forte identità della band e affronta, come da tradizione, tematiche politiche e sociali. L'album comprenderà dieci brani e vedrà anche il ritorno dello storico collaboratore Paul Barker, presente nella traccia conclusiva "We're Still Here", una collaborazione dal forte valore simbolico che suggella la fine del percorso artistico dei Ministry.
Parallelamente all'annuncio dell'album, la band ha ufficializzato il proprio tour d'addio europeo, battezzato "Hate to Go – Goodbye Europe 2027". La tournée partirà il 2 aprile 2027 e vedrà come special guest i Die Krupps. Al momento non sono previste date in Italia.

Ministry Announce Their Breakup: Final Album and Farewell Tour Coming Soon
After more than forty years of activity, Ministry are preparing to bring their story to a definitive close.
The legendary band led by Al Jourgensen has announced that their upcoming record will be the final studio album in the group’s history, accompanied by an international farewell tour that will take the industrial‑metal pioneers across European and North American stages for one last run before officially disbanding.
The concluding album, Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery), will be released on October 30, 2026 and marks Ministry’s seventeenth studio effort. The record closes a career that began in 1981 and went on to leave an indelible mark on industrial metal thanks to an innovative sound and the direct, provocative approach that has always defined Jourgensen and his bandmates.
Leading the album’s release is the single “Burned Out”, which reaffirms the band’s strong identity and, true to tradition, tackles political and social themes. The album will feature ten tracks and also marks the return of longtime collaborator Paul Barker, who appears on the closing song “We’re Still Here”—a symbolic reunion that seals the final chapter of Ministry’s artistic journey.
Alongside the album announcement, the band has unveiled their European farewell tour, titled “Hate to Go – Goodbye Europe 2027.” The tour kicks off on April 2, 2027 and will feature Die Krupps as special guests. At present, no Italian dates have been scheduled.
