I Social Distortion sono pronti a riabbracciare il pubblico italiano con quello che si preannuncia come uno degli appuntamenti più attesi dell’estate punk rock. La storica formazione californiana guidata da Mike Ness farà tappa nel nostro Paese per una sola ed esclusiva data, in programma martedì 23 giugno 2026 al Kozel Carroponte di Sesto San Giovanni, nell’area metropolitana di Milano.
Dopo oltre quarant’anni di carriera, i Social Distortion continuano a rappresentare una delle realtà più influenti e rispettate dell’intera scena punk rock americana. Nati nel 1978 a Fullerton, nel cuore della celebre Orange County, hanno contribuito a definire un linguaggio musicale capace di fondere punk, rock'n'roll, rockabilly e attitudine street, diventando un punto di riferimento per generazioni di musicisti e appassionati.
L'occasione del ritorno italiano coincide con la promozione di Born To Kill, il nuovo lavoro in studio pubblicato a quindici anni di distanza dal precedente album di inediti. Un disco particolarmente significativo per la band, arrivato dopo un lungo percorso creativo e dopo la battaglia affrontata da Mike Ness contro un tumore alle tonsille, esperienza che ha inevitabilmente influenzato il processo artistico e umano dietro la realizzazione del progetto.
Durante la serata milanese non mancheranno i grandi classici che hanno scritto la storia del gruppo, da "Ball And Chain" a "Story Of My Life", passando per "Bad Luck" e "Reach For The Sky", affiancati dai nuovi brani contenuti in "Born To Kill". Il risultato sarà un viaggio attraverso oltre quattro decenni di carriera, tra inni generazionali, energia punk e quella miscela di rabbia, malinconia e autenticità che ha sempre caratterizzato il marchio Social Distortion.
Ad aprire la serata saranno inoltre i Giuda, formazione romana che negli anni si è costruita una solida reputazione internazionale grazie a un sound che unisce glam rock, rock'n'roll e spirito punk.
Per i fan italiani si tratta di un appuntamento dal valore speciale: un'unica occasione per rivedere dal vivo una delle band simbolo del punk rock californiano, tornata finalmente sulle scene con nuova musica e con la stessa energia che l'ha resa leggendaria.

Social Distortion are ready to reconnect with their Italian audience with what promises to be one of the most anticipated punk‑rock events of the summer.
The historic California band led by Mike Ness will stop in Italy for one single, exclusive date: Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Kozel Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni, in the metropolitan area of Milan.
After more than forty years of career, Social Distortion remain one of the most influential and respected forces in the entire American punk‑rock scene. Formed in 1978 in Fullerton, in the heart of the legendary Orange County, they helped define a musical language that blends punk, rock’n’roll, rockabilly and street attitude , becoming a reference point for generations of musicians and fans.
The band’s return to Italy coincides with the promotion of Born To Kill, their new studio album released fifteen years after their previous collection of original material. It’s a particularly meaningful record, arriving after a long creative process and after Mike Ness’s battle with tonsil cancer , an experience that inevitably shaped both the artistic and human journey behind the project.
The Milan show will feature all the classics that built the band’s legacy , from Ball And Chain to Story Of My Life, Bad Luck and Reach For The Sky , alongside the new tracks from Born To Kill.
