L'estate italiana si prepara ad accogliere uno degli appuntamenti più attesi dagli appassionati di musica dal vivo. Dal 2 al 10 luglio 2026, la storica Piazza del Duomo di Pistoia ospiterà la 45ª edizione del Pistoia Blues Festival, manifestazione che da quasi mezzo secolo rappresenta uno dei punti di riferimento assoluti per il blues e il rock internazionale in Europa.
Anche quest'anno il festival propone un cartellone di altissimo livello, capace di unire grandi leggende del rock, protagonisti della scena blues contemporanea e artisti di fama mondiale. Tra gli eventi più attesi spicca il ritorno dei The Darkness, in programma l'8 luglio. La celebre band inglese guidata dai fratelli Hawkins tornerà a Pistoia a dieci anni dalla sua ultima apparizione, portando sul palco l'energia che l'ha resa una delle formazioni rock più amate degli ultimi decenni. Il concerto rappresenta inoltre una delle date esclusive italiane del loro nuovo tour europeo.
Grande attesa anche per i leggendari Jethro Tull, protagonisti della serata conclusiva del 10 luglio. La storica formazione guidata da Ian Anderson porterà a Pistoia il proprio "Curiosity Tour", ripercorrendo oltre cinquant'anni di carriera attraverso classici intramontabili come Aqualung e Locomotive Breath, insieme ai brani più recenti della band.

The festival’s rock‑driven core will unfold especially between July 4 and 10, with a series of concerts expected to draw audiences from across Italy and abroad.
Among the most eagerly awaited events is the return of The Darkness, scheduled for July 8. The celebrated British band led by the Hawkins brothers will be back in Pistoia ten years after their last appearance, bringing to the stage the explosive energy that has made them one of the most beloved rock acts of recent decades.
