Nel 2026 si apre un capitolo straordinario per Litfiba, con il ritorno sul palco della formazione originale degli anni ’80 , Piero Pelù, Ghigo Renzulli, Antonio Aiazzi e Gianni Maroccolo , per celebrare il quarantennale del disco che, nel 1986, tracciò una svolta radicale nella storia del rock italiano: 17 Re.
Il progetto prende il nome di “Quarant’anni di 17 Re – Tour 2026”, ed è in assoluto uno degli eventi più significativi del panorama musicale italiano degli ultimi anni: una reunion annunciata a sorpresa , pochi mesi prima considerata impensabile , che restituisce al pubblico la band nella sua forma storica, per rivivere dal vivo l’energia, la visionarietà e l’intensità sonora di quegli anni.
L’album “17 Re”, secondo capitolo della cosiddetta “Trilogia delle vittime del potere” (preceduto da Desaparecido e seguito da Litfiba 3), fu pubblicato come doppio LP nel 1986 e rappresenta uno dei punti più alti della creatività del gruppo. In quei brani, le atmosfere new wave, la sperimentazione sonora e la forza del messaggio rendono “17 Re” non semplicemente un disco, ma un manifesto rock e socioculturale, capace ancora oggi di risuonare con forza e attualità.
