Ferrara si prepara ad accogliere uno degli eventi più attesi del panorama artistico italiano: il Gran Gala dei Festival 2025. Un appuntamento che fonde musica, danza e talento in una cornice storica di straordinaria bellezza, il Cortile del Castello Estense, dove il 28 agosto si terrà la serata finale di un percorso iniziato mesi prima con audizioni, selezioni e semifinali.
Il festival, organizzato da Nove Eventi in collaborazione con il Comune di Ferrara e la Fondazione Teatro Comunale, rappresenta un punto di riferimento per giovani artisti emergenti provenienti da tutta Italia e dall’estero.
Il Gran Gala dei Festival non è solo una competizione, ma un vero e proprio palcoscenico di espressione artistica. I protagonisti della serata finale sono stati selezionati durante le semifinali tenutesi il 7 giugno presso la Sala Estense, dove si sono esibiti davanti a una giuria composta da esperti del settore musicale e coreutico. I finalisti sono musicisti e ballerini di altissimo livello, tra cui Giacomo Checchi alla batteria, Frank Julian al basso, Sofia Pampolini alla chitarra e Valerio Vitolo al sax. Ognuno di loro ha dimostrato una padronanza tecnica e una sensibilità interpretativa che ha conquistato pubblico e giuria.
La serata del 28 agosto sarà condotta da due volti noti del mondo radiofonico e musicale: Vanessa Grey di RTL 102.5 e BeaMakk, che accompagneranno il pubblico in un viaggio tra performance, emozioni e sorprese. Tra gli ospiti speciali spicca Centomilacarie, artista raffinato e profondo, che presenterà un estratto del suo ultimo progetto “Io Nessuno”, un lavoro che esplora le fragilità e le contraddizioni dell’animo umano attraverso sonorità intime e testi intensi.
Il Gran Gala dei Festival si inserisce all’interno del più ampio Festival delle Manifestazioni, che include anche “A Voice for Europe – La voce per l’Europa – Italia”, concorso dedicato ai cantanti emergenti. I vincitori di questa sezione avranno l’opportunità di esibirsi a Toronto nel 2026 al festival “Sing for Italy”, grazie a una prestigiosa partnership internazionale con l’organizzazione canadese C.H.I.A. Un’occasione unica per portare la propria arte oltre i confini nazionali e confrontarsi con un pubblico globale.
Durante la serata finale verranno assegnati premi di grande valore simbolico e concreto. Il vincitore assoluto riceverà il Premio alla Memoria del cantautore Mike Francis e sarà ospite alla Finalissima del Festival Sanremo Rock & Sanremo Trend, che si terrà il 13 settembre al Teatro Ariston di Sanremo. Inoltre, verranno conferite borse di studio e contributi economici per sostenere la formazione e la produzione di nuovi spettacoli. Il vincitore della categoria ESB riceverà una borsa di studio del valore di 1.500 euro, mentre quello della categoria EDV otterrà un contributo di 10.000 euro destinato alla realizzazione di concerti ed esibizioni live. Anche il partner del vincitore del Gran Gala dei Festival sarà premiato con un riconoscimento del valore di 1.000 euro.
L’assessore alla Cultura Marco Gulinelli ha sottolineato l’importanza dell’evento come strumento di valorizzazione dei giovani talenti e come occasione per rafforzare il legame tra arte e territorio. Ferrara is preparing to host one of the most anticipated events on the Italian artistic scene: the Grand Gala of Festivals 2025.
An appointment that blends music, dance, and talent in the extraordinary historic setting of the Courtyard of the Este Castle, where on August 28 the final evening will take place, concluding a journey that began months earlier with auditions, selections, and semifinals. Organized by Nove Eventi in collaboration with the Municipality of Ferrara and the Fondazione Teatro Comunale, the festival represents a key stage for emerging young artists from all over Italy and abroad.
The Grand Gala of Festivals is not just a competition, but a true stage for artistic expression. The finalists for the evening were selected during the semifinals held on June 7 at the Sala Estense, where they performed before a jury made up of experts in the fields of music and dance. The finalists include outstanding musicians and dancers, such as Giacomo Checchi on drums, Frank Julian on bass, Sofia Pampolini on guitar, and Valerio Vitolo on saxophone. Each of them impressed both the jury and the audience with their technical mastery and interpretative sensitivity.
The evening of August 28 will be hosted by two well-known figures from the radio and music world: Vanessa Grey (RTL 102.5) and BeaMakk, who will guide the audience on a journey through performances, emotions, and surprises. Among the special guests is Centomilacarie, a refined and profound artist, who will present an excerpt from his latest project “Io Nessuno”, a work that explores the fragilities and contradictions of the human soul through intimate sounds and powerful lyrics.
The Grand Gala of Festivals is part of the broader Festival delle Manifestazioni, which also includes “A Voice for Europe – La voce per l’Europa – Italia”, a contest dedicated to emerging singers. The winners of this section will have the opportunity to perform in Toronto in 2026 at the “Sing for Italy” festival, thanks to a prestigious international partnership with the Canadian organization C.H.I.A. A unique chance to take their art beyond national borders and reach a global audience.
During the final evening, prizes of great symbolic and tangible value will be awarded. The overall winner will receive the Mike Francis Memorial Award and will be a special guest at the Grand Finale of the Sanremo Rock & Sanremo Trend Festival, to be held on September 13 at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo. In addition, scholarships and financial contributions will be granted to support training and the production of new performances. The winner of the ESB category will receive a scholarship worth €1,500, while the winner of the EDV category will be awarded a contribution of €10,000 to support concerts and live performances. Even the partner of the Grand Gala of Festivals’ winner will receive a €1,000 award.
